last year and is very nice. The Red Zone is a great place and
they are anxious for us to return!! A super group of people.
As usual, please let me know if you are coming so that we can
get an accurate head count for the restaurant. This ensures
that they are set up for us and have enough beer on hand! Yes,
they have air conditioning!! Email Bartman0@cox.net or phone

Nebraska Veterans Home Car Show 6 September!!
year again we have been contacted by the Eastern Nebraska
Veterans Home (ENVH) in Bellevue to organize a car show for
the veterans. The show will be on 6 September from 1:00 to
about 3:00. We can start arriving about 12:30. Even if you can
make it for just a short time, the veterans will really
appreciate it. This is a big event for them. Everybody (staff
and veterans) loved the show we put on last year. The variety
of vehicles (sports cars and classics) really impressed them
and kept them talking all year. Believe me, I heard about it
more than once. They donít get around much so bringing this
to them makes it their special day.
Like last year,
Kurt will be there with his popcorn wagon (truly a classic).
We will have free popcorn, nachos, and lots of apple cider for
The ENVH is in Bellevue on Capehart Rd just
north of 36th St. All roads are paved and they will block off
part of the parking lot for us. If you can make it please let
me know(Bartman0@cox.net or phone 402-592-5228)so that I can
ensure that we have a big enough area. Iím anticipating more
cars this year so I will do a better job of getting everybody
parked. That way we will have lots of space between cars.
Thanks for considering participating and making a bunch of
veterans very happy!
